Blues Actu Live: a live public recording at the Salaise Blues Festival

On the occasion of the Salaise Blues Festival, Blues Actu Radio is launching a brand-new show: Blues Actu Live. This first edition, hosted by Cédric Vernet, will be recorded in front of a live audience at the heart of the Elsa Triolet media library in Salaise-sur-Sanne, bringing you up close to the festival artists in an intimate setting.

The concept is simple: a live-recorded show featuring conversations with festival guests, punctuated by acoustic live sessions, in an intimate and stripped-down format.

Three artists featured in this show

Charles Pasi

Charles Pasi, harmonica player, singer and songwriter, develops an open musical style where blues meets soul, jazz and pop. Signed to the prestigious Blue Note label, he has established himself as one of the leading figures of the contemporary blues scene in France and across Europe. He will notably talk about his latest and outstanding album Adamas.

Théo Charaf

Guitarist and singer Théo Charaf draws from the American folk-blues tradition. Inspired by artists such as Mississippi John Hurt and Skip James, he delivers a stripped-down, deeply inhabited sound rooted in tradition yet highly personal. As part of the festival, Théo led a masterclass and will perform later that evening on the main stage.

Manouche Fournier

Musician and researcher, Manouche Fournier explores blues both through performance and education. At 5 PM the same day, he will present a musical lecture at the media library. During the show, he will talk about his educational approach to understanding the history and legacy of blues, as well as his projects Junkyard Crew and Zozophonic Orchestra.

Open to the public free of charge, this show will take place at the center of the Elsa Triolet media library in Salaise-sur-Sanne and will offer a unique live radio experience blending conversation and music. It will later be broadcast on Blues Actu Radio and available on bluesactu.com. Stay tuned!
