Salaise Blues Festival 2026: get the full program!

From March 13 to 28, 2026, Salaise-sur-Sanne and the surrounding towns will pulse to the rhythm of the Salaise Blues Festival. For this new edition, the festival once again highlights what makes it unique: a program spread across the territory, combining concerts, blues’n’bar sessions, library events, masterclasses, young audience activities and two major evening shows at the Laurent Bouvier Community Hall.

As a partner of the event, Blues Actu will be at the Elsa Triolet library on Saturday, March 28 for a live public recording of a music show featuring artists from the festival.

A festival rooted in the local area

The kick-off takes place on March 13 with the traditional Blues’n’Bar shows, local gigs held in cafés and venues across the area. This year’s opening night brings together Monsieur Bosseigne and Shaggy Dogs in Saint-Alban-du-Rhône, followed by several dates with Mama Jake in different towns across the territory.

Saturday, March 21 marks the official opening of the festival at the Elsa Triolet library in Salaise-sur-Sanne, with Anna Boulic, hosted by the library team, and a live performance by artist Grégory Aubert.

Young audiences at the heart of the project

The festival also puts a strong emphasis on outreach and education, with several events not to be missed.

  • A masterclass with Théo Charaf
On Wednesday, March 25, at the Saint-Clair-du-Rhône performance hall, a free masterclass is offered in partnership with the 6/4 Conservatory. An open discussion for musicians, focusing on playing, groove and approaches to the blues.
  • A show for young audiences: Violette leads the investigation
On the same day, at 2:30 pm at the Laurent Bouvier Community Hall, Mama Jake presents a free musical show for children aged 6 and up. A blues and swing detective story inspired by testimonies from winemakers in Touraine, featuring Ady and Anna Boulic.

Blues Actu Radio live and in public at the library

On Saturday, March 28 at 3:00 pm, the Elsa Triolet library will host the live recording of a music show hosted by Cédric Vernet. The show will be punctuated by short musical interludes performed by festival artists and will later be broadcast on bluesactu.com and on Blues Actu Radio.

At 5:00 pm the same day, the audience will be able to attend a musical talk by Manouche Fournier, exploring how the blues has shaped African American musical culture, all the way to hip hop.

And finally… two major nights at the Laurent Bouvier Community Hall

The Laurent Bouvier Community Hall is, as every year, the festival’s grand finale venue. This stage has hosted some of the biggest blues names for over 20 years. This year, the first night will focus on blues and gospel, while the second night will offer a dense lineup blending folk, blues and rock. Here is the full program:
