A passionate blues fan, filmmaker and visual storyteller, Tibo Degraeuwe is officially joining the Blues Actu team to help expand our video production. Documentary filmmaker, director of the series Born to Be a Bluesman, creator of the Saturday Night Blues show and audiovisual partner of numerous festivals, he brings more than fifteen years of experience dedicated to music.
Some of you may already know him through his documentary To Me, That’s the Blues, his work with Bobby Rush, or his collaborations with the Rhino Jazz(s) Festival, where he captured some of the event’s finest moments on video. His YouTube channel is a true goldmine for blues lovers. “I’m delighted to join the Blues Actu team! It has become an essential media outlet within the blues scene, backed by an amazing team of passionate people. Together, we’ll continue shining a light on the artists who inspire us,” says Tibo.
After first crossing paths more than ten years ago through Blues Café Live, Tibo Degraeuwe and Cédric Vernet are teaming up once again to bring you new exclusive interviews, features and video portraits. Over the past few years, they have already worked together on interviews with David Evans, Mountain Men and Grant Haua, which you can watch below.
Welcome to the team, Tibo! 🎸🔥
