In history

The Bluesactu website was founded in 1995 by Cédric Vernet. Bluesactu.com is a general information site about Blues and all its derivatives. A web pioneer, the site was frequently highlighted by the first magazines presenting must-visit websites, such as Best on web in 2007 — that doesn’t make us any younger!

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the blues in all its forms, to highlight emerging talents (especially from France), while not forgetting the legends who have shaped the history of blues, soul, and their derivatives. We offer interviews, news, a web radio, and podcasts.
